about

Once in a Lifetime was the first song written that made it on The Long War’s sophomore album, Under a Heavy Sky. It’s the reflection of terrible loss and the memories we struggle to piece together. Once in a Lifetime is a swan song - like a letter to oneself, reminding us that time and moments shared are sacred.

Once In A Lifetime is about the power of love and the pain of a mutually agreed separation. The song tenderly carries you through the moments of realizing that a nurtured and very real love will no longer continue. Once In A Lifetime is a song that brilliantly shares the emotions of loss of that most precious human experience and assures you that love is not disposable. Tissues recommended!
